Time is simply moving faster than I am these days. I am still finding it difficult to believe March is here, Spring is just around the corner (well, early Summer for us Arizonians), and the Valley of the Sun Chapter – ATOS is turning into a vibrant, growing, Chapter with a renewed energy, enthusiasm level, and future outlook.

Notes from the Chapter President 02/26

I am a few days late in getting this message out to everyone; however, I would like to sincerely wish everyone a HAPPY, EXCITING, and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR! There is a renewed energy within the Chapter, in general, as well as an excitement amongst the VOTS Board Members for Chapter membership growth, new organ restoration projects, and even more opportunities to introduce potential members - and young organists - to a Theatre Organ.

About Us

The Valley of the Sun Chapter (VOTS) was formed in 1958. Our membership is made up of folks just like you, your friends, and family. The chapter owns the beautiful organ in the Orpheum Theatre and maintains it and other theatre organs in the Phoenix metro area through the active participation and donations of its membership. In addition to the Silent Sundays silent film series, now in its twentieth year, the chapter reaches out to the community with events like our Orpheum Experience for young music students and by partnering with other valley arts organizations. The Valley Of The Sun Chapter of The American Theatre Organ Society is a recognized tax exempt educational and charitable organization under section 501-C-3 of the Internal Revenue Code and is a nonprofit corporation organized in the state of Arizona.

Help Us Keep The Music Live The Valley of the Sun Chapter owns and maintains the magnificent Wurlitzer Pipe Organ in the Phoenix Orpheum Theatre at entirely its own expense.
